Fiorello Lorenzo Fiore

Career

Fiorello spent over three decades at Credit Suisse, from 1977 to 2010, where he held several senior leadership positions, including Managing Director.

Between 1999 and 2003, he led the Private Banking division for International Client Italy at the Chiasso branch. From 2004 onwards, he was entrusted with the strategic development and oversight of the International Client Italy business for the Lugano region.

In 2009, Fiorello was appointed Head of HNWI International Clients, taking responsibility for the key branches of Lugano and Chiasso, with Locarno added to his remit in 2010. Over the years, he developed strong, lasting relationships with high-net-worth clients and built a reputation for his trusted leadership and deep expertise in international private banking.

In 2010, capitalising on his extensive industry experience, he founded FF Marcuard SA in Lugano, where he continues to contribute as a seasoned entrepreneur and financial expert.

Education & Languages

Fiorello holds the Swiss National Diploma AFC in Commerce and has supplemented his formal education with numerous specialised courses in finance and banking, both in Switzerland and internationally.

His mother tongue is Italian. He is fluent in English, French and German, enabling him to serve a diverse and international clientele.

Luca Catena

Career

Luca worked at Credit Suisse for over 21 years.

Since 2004, he was active in Private Banking International at the Lugano branch, serving as a Senior Relationship Manager for HNWI and UHNWI clients. During his career, Luca was selected for the Internal Development Programme, a prestigious cross-divisional talent initiative that provided deep insight into the operations of a universal and international bank.

As part of this programme, he spent nearly a year working abroad in London, Singapore, Zurich and Milan, rotating through key business areas including Investment Banking, Asset Management and Private Banking.

In July 2022, Luca joined FF Marcuard SA as a Relationship Manager and Deputy to the current CEO.

Luca obtained a degree in Business Economics from the Scuola Universitaria Professionale della Svizzera Italiana (SUPSI) in 2007. He has continued to advance his financial and economic knowledge through the following certifications:

Patrick Raith

Career

Patrick worked at Credit Suisse SA for 24 years.

He began his career at Credit Suisse SA in 1999 as part of the Junior Banking Programme. From 2001 to 2006, he served as a junior consultant for Swiss retail clients, focusing on financial and mortgage services.

In 2006, he transitioned to the role of Relationship Manager in Private Banking International at the Lugano branch, a position he held for many years.

In January 2024, Patrick joined FF Marcuard SA as a Relationship Manager.

Patrick obtained a degree in Business Economics (SUP) from the Professional University School of Italian Switzerland (SUPSI) in 2006. Over the years, he has further enhanced his financial and economic expertise through the following certifications:

Monika Bene

Career
Monika brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, advising both private and institutional clients in Switzerland and internationally.

She began her career in 1997 as a Financial Advisor at Prudential-Bache International, part of Prudential Financial, where she worked in Lugano and London for four years.

From 2001 to 2018, Monika spent more than 17 years at Credit Suisse, working in private banking and wealth management. During this time, she held senior relationship management roles in Lugano, Rome and St. Moritz.

Between 2018 and 2022, she acted as an independent consultant in collaboration with a financial boutique engaged in venture capital and third-party fund distribution, with offices in Lugano and Zurich.

In 2023–2024, Monika gained experience in the luxury sector as a Senior Client Advisor at Bucherer AG in St. Moritz.

In July 2024, she returned to the financial industry and joined the FF Marcuard Team as a Senior Relationship Manager.

Monika holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics.

She is fluent in English, Italian, French, German, Spanish and Hungarian. She also has basic proficiency in Russian and Portuguese.

Paola Della Vedova

Career

Paola Della Vedova brings over two decades of experience in the fields of Internal Audit and Compliance, having worked with both global financial institutions and specialised wealth management firms. Her career began in 1999 at Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena in Bergamo, where she focused on export and short-term financing.

She continued her professional development with roles in internal audit at Pioneer Investments (now part of Amundi), UniCredit, and Kairos Partners SGR in Milan, where she transitioned into compliance functions. These early positions provided her with a solid foundation in regulatory risk, financial controls, and fund operations.

From 2008 onward, she held increasing responsibilities in compliance and risk oversight, including at BANCA ARNER SA in Lugano, where she served as Head of Compliance, Legal Services, and Consolidated Supervision. She also spent over three years at EFG Bank in Lugano, where she managed key aspects of compliance processes and regulatory liaison.

Paola joined FF Marcuard SA as Compliance Officer and Risk Manager, where she leverages her extensive regulatory knowledge, analytical rigour, and experience with Swiss and European frameworks to ensure robust governance and operational integrity.

Paola holds a Master’s degree in Economics and has completed an Executive Master’s in Compliance Management. These academic qualifications are complemented by continuous professional development throughout her career in the financial services industry.

Her native language is Italian. She is fluent in English and French, allowing her to work effectively in international and multilingual regulatory environments.

Arianna Vigo

Career

Arianna Vigo began her professional journey in the fashion and luxury industry, where she held senior positions at leading international brands including Gianni Versace and the Staff International S.p.A. Group. In these roles, she developed a strong foundation in executive coordination, brand representation, and global client interaction.

Driven by a desire to explore a new industry, Arianna transitioned into the financial sector, where she worked as an executive assistant for various banks and asset management firms in Lugano. Her experience spans administrative leadership, client support, and executive liaison in highly regulated financial environments.

In February 2024, she joined FF Marcuard SA as Executive Assistant to the CEO, where she supports strategic initiatives, internal coordination, and high-level communications within the firm’s executive team.

Arianna holds a diploma as a “Foreign Languages Business Correspondent”, equipping her with strong multilingual and intercultural communication skills relevant to global business settings.

Her native language is Italian. She is fluent in English and French and has a good working knowledge of German, allowing her to operate seamlessly in international and multilingual environments.

Tamara Gagliano Cavadini

Career

Tamara brings over 30 years of experience in the banking and wealth management sector in Lugano.

She began her professional journey in 1994 at Banca Commerciale Italiana in Lugano, where she held the position of management secretary. From 2000 to 2010, she worked at HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) as a Private Banking Assistant.

In the years that followed, Tamara held various roles within several leading asset management firms in Lugano, further expanding her expertise in administrative and client service functions.

She joined our team in November 2023 in a part-time capacity, bringing with her a strong background in private banking operations and client support.

Education & Languages

After completing secondary school, Tamara earned her diploma as a qualified commercial employee from the Commercial School in Lugano in 1993.

Her mother tongue is Italian. She also has a good command of English, German and French.

Alessandra Fiore

Career

Alessandra Fiore began her legal career at the Secretariat of the Swiss Competition Commission (WEKO), where she conducted market assessments and contributed to regulatory decisions. She further developed her skills through roles in leading Swiss law firms and international organisations, including Ernst & Young Zurich, where she worked in the Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Office with a focus on banking regulation and internal governance.

Following the completion of her bar training, she joined Kellerhals Carrard Lugano, where she gained experience in corporate and criminal law, representing clients in negotiations and proceedings. In 2018, she became a practising attorney at Dextra Rechtsschutz AG, where she currently serves as Deputy Team Leader for both the Contract Law and Italophone teams. In this role, she manages complex legal matters across multiple jurisdictions and provides strategic advice in Italian and German.

Alessandra joined the Board of FF Marcuard SA as a non-executive member, where she contributes her legal expertise and governance insights, supporting the firm’s commitment to Swiss regulatory standards and client-focused operations.

Education & Languages

Alessandra Fiore holds a Master of Law degree magna cum laude from the University of Zurich and obtained her Swiss bar qualification in 2017. During her studies, she completed an exchange programme at Keio University Law School in Tokyo, enhancing her international legal perspective.

Her mother tongue is Italian. She is fluent in German and English and has good working knowledge of French, enabling her to work across linguistic and cultural boundaries with precision and discretion.

Flavio Mazzoni

Career

Flavio has worked across various professional sectors since 1980, beginning his career as an internal auditor before assuming management roles in both medium-sized and large international companies.

Since 1990, he has been active in the Swiss fiduciary sector, gaining recognised expertise in corporate and tax consultancy.

For the past 22 years, he has worked at one of Switzerland’s leading fiduciary companies, where he has distinguished himself as a highly respected manager and served on the Board of Directors of several companies and foundations.

Since 2019, Flavio has been a member of the Board of Directors of FF Marcuard SA.

Education & Languages

Flavio obtained his diploma as an Accountant and Commercial Expert in 1973. He also holds a certificate in Systems Analysis and Programming from EDP Zurich.

Throughout his career, he has actively pursued continuous professional development, attending numerous courses in administration, accounting and compliance, as well as a course in tax law at SUPSI.

His mother tongue is Italian. He speaks and writes fluently in English, French and Spanish, and has a good knowledge of Portuguese.

Patrick Stauber

Career

Patrick is the Group CEO and CEO of Marcuard Heritage AG. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of several other companies within the Marcuard Heritage Group.

Before joining Marcuard Heritage AG, Patrick was a managing partner at a Swiss independent wealth management firm and served on the board of various investment fund vehicles.

From 1996 to 2006, he played a key role at Morgan Stanley in Zurich and London. Before that, he spent six years at Citicorp Private Bank in Zurich and Citibank NA in London, following the completion of his banking apprenticeship at Bank Leu AG.

Patrick holds a degree in Business Administration and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

He is fluent in German and English, and conversational in French.
